full time Head of Digital

at International Utilities Player in Central/W.End

Joining the management team of an international utilities player, your primary role will be to define and deliver a coherent digital strategy for the organisation which will act as a platform for acquiring, developing and retaining customers.

You will work closely with brand, sales and IT to deliver a digital solution which meets the company’s commercial objectives and is fully aligned to brand strategy, customer experience and segmentation strategy.

Initially over 6 months, your role will include: * a full assessment of the company’s current online activities and digital assets * identification of business opportunities for customer interaction and profitability online * the creation of a clear implementation roadmap for change

The role could evolve into a permanent role in the new digital organisation

Candidate Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be an expert in digital strategy and have extensive experience in the design, implementation and optimisation of best-in-class e-commerce solutions. They are likely to have experience in management consultancy and will have had exposure to a mix of strategic and operational projects. They will bring a solid technical understanding to meet the various challenges in this role (strategy, organisational and technical architecture, roles and responsibilities, process roadmap). Digital business management or commercial experience, i.e. a line management role in an online or digital function in a services organisation, would be an advantage. They will also be an excellent relationship manager and pragmatic self-starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to quickly establish priorities and meet goals.
