Database Specialist Contract – Part-Time
c.£35,000 - £40,000 pro rata for 3 day week

Exceptional database and data management skills required for this attractive 5 month 3 days per week part-time contract at a leading UK FMCG business. Working with continuous retail market data, you will work on a major data transfer project - develop the structure and content of key databases in consultation with major data suppliers and commercial and marketing teams. You will also be involved in setting up analytical training for teams across the business and identifying ways in which data retrieval and use can be improved.
Our Ideal Candidate
Strong analytical skills, ideally with some experience of using continuous retail/EPOS data, are key for this role. You’ll be used to working with large volumes of data – distilling the key trends and insights but more importantly understanding the hows and whys of how the data is formatted and how the users of the data use it. Strong influencing and interpersonal skills are also important – you’ll need to build a quick rapport with stakeholders across the business and with the data supplier(s).
