You will be required to support the technical team with the delivery of consulting led projects.

REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Responsible for the definition, setup, project management and delivery of technical work streams within client projects. *Provide expertise to clients in the CRM / Business Intelligence area *Play a key role in the coordination between the customer insight team, business consultancy and the technical delivery teams. *Ensure that technical solutions are delivered on time, in budget, within scope and with high quality. *Key member of the sales support team and drive further development of the sales story to enrich and enlarge the business, analytical and technical competencies

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Experienced candidates only – will need to hit the ground running

*Ideally you will have analytical CRM experiences or experience in the retail environment underpinned with a technical background. *You will have exposure to Client MI or CRM systems (vendor solutions or in-house developed) as well as Campaign Management systems such as Unica, SmartFocus, Epiphany etc. *Excellent knowledge of ETL and Data Warehousing technologies along with Data Modelling best practices *Experience managing complex consulting projects *Able to communicate effectively and positively with stakeholders (internal and external) *Knowledge of structured project management and structured analysis techniques (UML, Process modelling) and Oracle, Business Objects, Data warehousing and reporting projects would be advantageous. *Excellent commercial awareness & consulting skills

BACKGROUND

THE POSITION
The successful candidate will establish a first-line IT Support Helpdesk and IT Training service for the agency. You will take ownership of incoming IT requests and problems from staff, set up a logging and reporting system and take the incidents through to resolution, fixing issues where possible, or escalating them to higher support levels.

You will work alongside the IT Manager and IT Specialist to ensure the efficient running of the agency’s Apple Mac network, servicing and updating individuals’ machines, monitoring the network and servers.

In addition to providing first-line IT support, you will also ensure that Account Handling and Business Support staff are proficient in using Mail, Microsoft Office (2008), web browsers, and other in-house packages such as Now-Up-To-Date (diary and contacts management) and FocalPoint (timesheets). You will produce in-house documents and training packages and user guides for IT systems and will be responsible for inducting and training new staff on the network and relevant applications.

The ideal candidate will have a good level of Mac OS-X knowledge and experience, ideally in a training and support capacity. This is an extremely varied role that would suit a candidate with strong Mac OS-X knowledge, an analytical approach, initiative and a keen desire to learn and progress in an IT / Training & Support role.
